Tupolev SB 2M-103 «4 Blue» (c/n 11/220), 24th SBP/3rd Sqn, was flown by pilot Starchilo, navigator/bomb-aimer Yegorov and gunner/radio operator Petrov. It was lost to AA fire on 1st December 1939 while bombing Viipuri railway station

Tupolev SB 2M-100 «4 Yellow» presumably belonged to the 24th SBP/5th Sqn (pilot Prochev). It was shot down by Finnish fighters when attacking Immola airfield on 21 December 1939

Tupolev SB-2M-100AU «3 Blue» (c/n 2/92) of the 44th SBP/5th Sqn. This aircraft was lost in a fatal crash on 30th January 1940 when pilot Ovcharenko (who had been suspended from a sortie because he lacked instrument flying skills) took the decision to take off on his own accord after the rest of the regiment had flown, but became disoriented in clouds

This Tupolev SB 2M-103A «2 Blue» was likewise captured by the Germans in wrecked condition in the summer of 1941. The stars were also applied to the propeller spinners

Tupolev SB 2M-100 20W-6 equipped with a wire aerial and a windmill-driven generator. The aircraft has a Luftwaffe-style «splinter scheme» of dark brown (RLM 61), dark green (RLM 62) and grey (RLM 63), with pale blue undersides (RLM 65)
