Il’yushin Il-28 «15 Red», 63rd BAP (Bomber Regiment)/1st Sqn was crewed by pilot Lt. Volkov and navigator/bomb-aimer Lt. Shapovalov, operating from Stanislav AB (1953-54) and Werneuchen AB (East Germany, 1954-60)
Il’yushin Il-22M (Il-22M-11 Bizon) RA-75909 (c/n 0394011092) wore different nose art at different times. First, the Three Piglets from the fairy tale were painted on the starboard side in the spring of 1993 when the aircraft was refurbished at the Russian Air Force’s aircraft overhaul plant No. 20 in Pushkin near St. Petersburg
Il’yushin Il-22M (Il-22M-11 Bizon) RA-75909 (c/n 0394011092) wore different nose art at different times. On 27th July 2000 RA-75909 was seen at Mozdok (Ingushetia) with this eagle motif. The aircraft being upgraded in early 1999 with different aerial arrangement
